The first week in October brings celebration for many things in Las Vegas…
A hot summer comes to a close and as pickleball expands in the Vegas valley, so have the new indoor pickleball clubs! Which means a highly fragmented group of players that normally rawk rec play in a smaller handful of outdoor public courts.- After an AWESOME MLP season, the pros sort of leave the team mentality and get back to their individual competitions for trophie and points. Back on the road, The Darling Tennis Center for the PPA RATE VEGAS tourney is one of the fav stops and tourneys for pros and rec tourney players alike! With the new pickleball ranking system it was interesting how it played out watching the quarters on a Thursday. It was blistering hot during the day with little breeze. But, some amazing matches!
- If you watch pickleball on TV or YouTube you have probably seen the cameras pan to Anna Bright’s mom Liping…such a cool lady and Anna’s #1 fan and she also is a great designer…I was able to meet her at Sunset today and bought one of her custom pickleball shirts! I asked her to sign it and she thought I wanted to get Anna’s sig..but, no, I said “I want your signature!” 🥰
